Where should I raise monarchs?

We have had great success raising monarchs in our 3-season porch where they're exposed to natural levels of heat and humidity without extreme weather conditions (strong winds, soaking rains, etc...)

Raising outdoors can work in an area protected from extreme weather and predators that can chew through mesh including mice & lizards.

Raising indoors can work too. I would suggest temps mid 70's F and up or metamorphosis will slow. Make sure not to use any household chemicals (like cleaning supplies) close to your indoor guests.
