Can a monarch butterfly emerge from the cage FLOOR?

If a hard chrysalis falls or you need to move it for any reason, a healthy butterfly can emerge from a chrysalis on the cage floor. The chrysalis is taped by its silk (scotch magic tape) so it won't drag across the floor as the butterfly tries to emerge:
